Eating with chopsticks is NOT easy!

We have been learning about the digraph "ch".  We brainstormed words that begin with ch.  We practiced sorting words that have "ch" and words that do not.  Our culminating activity was eating rice with chopsticks.  While it wasn't very easy, it was fun! (and entertaining!)  The kids loved it! 

My Many Colored Days

In art and in our classroom we read the book My Many Colored Days by Dr. Seuss. 

We mixed primary colored cool whip to make secondary colors!

100th Day of School

After the 50th day of school, the kids expected something BIG for the 100th day.  It definitely wasn't as BIG but, we did do many projects.

Globes

 After a long, long process...our globes are finished!  It was the first time I had attempted the project as a whole class.  It was a LOT of work but worth it!  We hope you've enjoyed them at home.
