It's finally fall and almost time for our first kindergarten field trip to

The Pumpkin Patch!!

We will be going to the Chesterfield Berry farm on

October 5th, 2010

We are able to take 5 parents so get your money and field trip papers in today!

The cost is $10 for students and parents and is due by

Thursday, Sept. 30th.

Painting, Play-doh, cooking, singing and more! We have made it through our first two weeks of school!! I've enjoyed getting to know your kindergarten student! We've been working on adjusting to a full day, making new friends, and learning many new procedures!

We've been reading many books from author and illustrator Kevin Henkes to learn about making connections, feelings, and predicting. Ask your child what their favorite Kevin Henkes book/character is! Make sure you visit the Chesterfield Public Library across the street from school to get your library card and check out some of Kevin Henkes other books!
