Baking Bread and Firefighting! Whew!

We've been learning about the farm this week.  We've learned about animal life cycles, the jobs of a farmer, crops grown on a farm, and the uses of animals and plants.  We read The Little Read Hen today and all helped to bake bread!
We used heavy whipping cream to make our own butter!  It was delicious!

This afternoon we had an awesome program from Chesterfield County Fire Department. We learned all about fire safety and saw a firefighter in gear! We know not to be afraid if a firefighter is trying to help us! We also got to see a fire truck and all of the equipment on it. They were nice enough to let us get in it!

It was an exciting day in kindergarten!
