I know you've probably heard from your child about our upcoming events! The 4th nine week is a very busy time of the year! There is so much to look forward to:
Cinco de Mayo! (5th of May) One of our parents is making authentic Mexican cuisine for us to taste! We are asking for each child to bring in $1-2 dollars to cover the cost of the food and drink.
The Word Wall Ball will be held Thursday, May 26th. It will be held in the afternoon. If your child does not know all 32 words yet, keep practicing! Students that know all of their word wall words by May 25th will receive a golden invitation to the ball! It will be a grand time!
Happy Memorial Day! May 30th will be a student and teacher holiday. There will be no school.
Our field trip to the Metro Richmond Zoo will be Thursday, June 2nd. We will need several parents to chaperone! This is always a great trip!
Splash Day! (2nd week of June) Students are invited to wear their bathing suit and splish and splash in pools, sprinklers, and slip and slide! They will need to bring a change of clothes and a towel.
Information will be sent home closer to each date!
